KEN : PATTY | MARRIED!

Just a few weekends ago Ken and Patty celebrated their new marriage with friends and family. Ken and Patty tied the knot in Las Vegas and have actually been married since August 8, 2008 (such a great date to have to remember 08/08/08, can't get any easier than that!) They held their reception at the Crystal Rose in Denver. It was gorgeous inside! It had such wonderful holiday decorations all lit up, and I am a such sucker for sparkly white lights.

In light of Ken and Patty's Las Vegas wedding, where they were both wearing black and white, they held a black and white themed reception. It seemed only fitting to make their post to match! I love black and white photography, and it went hand in hand perfectly with their celebration!

Ken is a US Marine and has just been promoted to Staff Sergeant, which I can honestly say I don't know too much about their rankings but Ken has been a dedicated Marine for many years. With an Iraq Tour in his career,  I can proudly say I am beyond thankful for him and and his brave services!

Since they headed off to Vegas (can you blame them?!) for their wedding, Ken and Patty decided to share vows they wrote for each other with their family and friends. Below are Ken's parents and brother Greg as they watch the exchanging of vows.

Their first dance...

A true Marine... Check out Ken's watch! Military time :)

Patty's dad making his toast to the bride and groom

This was great, here are Patty's sisters... letting everyone know when Patty was little, she would make them play wedding! So this was actually not Patty's first marriage :) I love to hear all the great stories that sneak out during the toasts! Not to mention Patty's reaction, the "Well, okay... so it might be true" was classic.

As well as her, Yep honey, I did that look!

Just in case Patty decided to smash cake onto Ken's Face, he was fully prepared to get her too!  They decided to play nice though :)

Mother and Cousin of the groom...

A pretty good looking pair.. Ken and his brother Greg

Now, for those of you who don't know Patty... The girl can dance! Check out her moves!

Thank you for letting me share in your celebration! I was actually playing double duty this evening.. part photographer, part family and guest!  Ken is my second cousin, and I am thrilled to welcome Patty and call her family as well. Many more years of laughs together you two! And Patty... welcome to our crazy family!!! :)
