MEET FINLEY!

So, you may ask... Where have I been for the last month?!? I think I am asking myself where this last month has actually gone!! 

My husband and I decided it was time for us to get a puppy! Here she is... (The first two pictures are from my phone, I know, I know... with all my camera gear sitting within reach, I went for my phone...) Well the first two are also from the day we brought her home. So we went to the adoption event, which was through the Colorado Puppy Rescue. We took one look around, saw her and her sisters, and knew... This was the dog for us! There were probably about 20 or so puppies up for adoption that weekend. There was noise, people, barking, whining... you name it these pups were hearing it! 

Oh, but not Finley and her sisters, they were out! Sleeping in a pile of puppy cuteness, we were like "Heck yeah! Let's get one of those! Man if they are mellow through all this..."

Well...

Needless to say, she is not mellow :) She actually is kind of nuts! But we love her anyways. I am sad to say though she is rapidly growing into all of her what we wanted to call "extra" skin. Nope, there was a reason for all of that "extra" skin. She has grown almost 10 pounds in the first three weeks of having her. So, bring on the puppy chow!

And here she is just a few days ago. Wound up, full of endless puppy energy, and her funny little crazed look! No, she doesn't really have a crazy eye :) It's only just when she has a mouth full of her bed or her Kong full of peanut butter...
