Heather : Scott | Engaged | Estes Park CO

Grab some popcorn! This post is long and hopefully making up for the lack of holiday posting. It's the longest engagement sneak peek I have ever done, but with good reason. Make sure you check out the whole post, there is some exciting news below. :)

Meet Heather and Scott! Heather actually went to school at CU Denver with my husband. How insanely cute are they?!? They are getting married May 2010,  at The Della Terra Mountain Chateau in Estes Park. It is brand new and is even still under construction, (opening May 2009) but if you have not seen this venue, check it out! It will be amazingly beautiful! Even if you are not getting married, what a great weekend get-a-way... We are totally going to go this summer!

Since Heather LOVES the snow and since Scott proposed in Estes Park, it seemed only right to do their pictures there. Dang the Colorado weather! Wouldn't you know it... no snow anywhere in sight. You would think, January in Estes there would be snow... sadly no. They were both great sports regardless. (You may see them on the blog again soon, we are determined to get Heather some snow pics) It was freezing and there was such an insane wind that day. Anyways, see for your self!

Thanks guys for having us and braving the cold!

(Heather and Scott flew out to California the very next morning... I think it was the warm sunny beaches and margarita thoughts that kept them going!)

How cute is Heather's hat and scarf!?

And hello amazing green eyes!

To sneak out of the cold we headed into Longs Peak Coffee and Paper House. It is so cute in there. They have yummy treats and some great gifts, not to mention great backdrops for our pictures. Make sure to stop in next time you are there.

So cute!!!

With all the great little shops in Estes, we had to head into a candy shop. I love the picture on the left. Heather is so cute even when she laughs at Scott's silly whispers. Scott even made sure to ask us, "You can't hear what I am saying, right?!" It was cute.

Sticking with trying to keep warm, this is inside Penelope's Old Time Burgers. This set up was one of my favorite from the day... I added a little vintage feeling to "holiday" it up a bit.

Imagine this picture with little snow flurries in it... :)

All of the following pictures were taking by my Intern Photographer Megan. She is amazing. This was her first engagement shoot side by side with me this year and she rocked it!  Megan has such a natural talent, and I am so excited to have her on board.  I mean, it's not like Heather and Scott were hard to look at! :) It's no wonder why these pictures are great...

What an awesome snuggle picture! So much love :)

Candy shop smooches...

This is my all time favorite picture of Megan's from the day! All we are missing again is the snow!
